It’s useful to have details of the nearest accessible doctors when you are on holiday. Here’s an accessible statement about our doctors’ surgery, Rhayader Medical Centre, which is situated on Cae Herbert Lane in our local town of Rhayader.
It has a car park with two disabled bays, but it’s small.
You approach the surgery by a gentle ramp and the doors open automatically. They are at least 1.5 metres wide with a flush threshold.
The second set of doors are push to open and has a flush threshold.
There is an accessible toilet on the left-hand side of the double doors.
The reception is in the waiting room.
The doors to the consulting rooms are wide enough for most wheelchair users.
