I can't fault the lodges. They are well equipped for anyone with a disability, dog friendly. The owners are very accommodating! Already booked for a longer stay next year. It is such a relaxing place to be. Definitely recommend it.

A great week away with mates. On a wet day we did the train journey from Devil’s Bridge to Aberystwyth. One day walking, South of Rhayader, on the Wye Valley Walk, covered in mud, beer and cakes. Two wonderful days walking and one wheelchair rolling around the Garreg-Ddu Reservoir and Claerwen Reservoir. Bicycle Museum was excellent. A great lodge with a fun circuit whizzing around the timber deck. Interesting to see how living off grid can be made to work so well. Looking forward to seeing how the third lodge is finished off on our next visit. We will be back for more fun adventures in Mid Wales Lodges in Mid Wales. Great facilities for my paraplegic needs.

Absoluteley lovely stay, family range from 20 to 85 who all thoroughly enjoyed the lodge. Incredible for disabled people due to facilities and equipment. Richard and Helen were incredibly welcoming and were hands on and only a phone call away if needed. The Honey was lovely, especially knowing it was fresh. Just had a fabulously relaxing fortnight in Hawthorn Lodge. Huge lodge with absolutely everything you need and if by any chance you need another piece of equipment, Richard and Helen will do their best to get it for you. The lodges are set in very quiet and peaceful countryside - perfect for those needing respite. If you do want to get out and about, there is a wealth of information about local attractions etc. For doggies, try Ynyslas beach - fair drive but you can park on the beach and it's very dog friendly. Some fantastic pubs in the local area. The dogs had a great time too and will miss Richard and Helen's cuddles. All in all we had a brilliant time and have have already booked for next year!

Had a great time & weather was kind. Lodge had everything we could have wanted and we will be back next year - a bit later in the year - when hopefully it will be warmer and we can make use of the patio more and perhaps see Richard's bees. We didn't want to leave! ..... We also realy liked the hot tub at night looking up at the stars. Also the massive garden were my brother played football with my dad. We have just had a fabulous week in Lime Lodge a beautiful well thought out accessible accommodation. Pure luxury throughout. Lots of space for all 6 of us and 2 dogs!! Disabled equipment all supplied at no extra charge. Tranquil and peaceful along with stunning views and comfortable beds made it an idyllic relaxing break from reality. Fully equipped kitchen and range cooker made family meal times enjoyable. We didn't want for anything. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. We even had great weather!! Helen and Richard are great hosts ensuring all your needs and wants are met and are always on hand. A welcome bottle of wine and jar of homemade honey was a perfect start to our holiday. I recommend subscribing to the mid wales lodge's newsletter which is full of places to visit and useful information. We look forward to returning.

The lodge was incredible! Warm and cosy even though it was enormous!! The owners were super helpful and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The lodge is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! The amount of disability equipment that is available on request means that there's no need to take anything with you if you need accessibility aids. The lodge was spotlessly clean and in a beautiful spot. There are plenty of dog walks close to the lodge. We are already planning our return visit.

What an amazing find. We were absolutely delighted with this wonderful well thought out and designed lodge, in such a quiet, peaceful location. There was so much space for the 7 of us, 4 adults, 3 children plus our 3 year old German shepherd. Each of the very big bedrooms has its own extra large en-suite with enormous shower area making this a superb property for anyone with mobility problems. Richard and Helen are the perfect hosts, they have thought of everything, right down to supplying hand wash, shower gel and cleaning products. Beautiful large decking area with huge wooden table and chairs, and a fabulous hot tub. If we could give a higher star rating than 5 we would. We highly, highly recommend this property.

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful lodge. The surroundings are stunning and if you want to get away from it all and feel like you're away from civilisation then this is the place for you. The lodge is well equipped and very spacious, has comfortable beds and lovely hot showers. The hot tub was well used and loved by the kids especially! Perfect accommodation for extended family especially as each room has its own bathroom. The owners, Richard and Helen were very friendly and easily reached by text when we needed to ask anything. Would recommend and would stay again.
