16 Jul New gantry hoist system arrived today!
Our new gantry hoist system arrived today delivered by Andrew of HWB Mobility, who supplied all the other disability equipment in our lodges. We set the system up in Lime Lodge and Andrew kindly took a video of me getting dunked in the hot tub!
The FSG200 gantry system allows everyone to have a chance to use our fantastic hot tubs. It’s so wide that you can get a shower chair or wheelchair between the gantry and the hot tub, and lift people in with the hoist and winch. It has a capacity of 200kgs and the available width between the hot tub and gantry is approximately 675 mm.
This specialist equipment enables our disabled guests to have fun in the hot tubs on their holiday. Other specialist equipment is available upon request, including low profiling beds with special mattresses, a manual hoist, riser recliner chairs, shower chairs, and basic disability aids.
