Our latest guests in Hawthorn Lodge kindly took a couple of videos demonstrating the ease of access using a power wheelchair.
These videos help provide a clear idea of how much space there is to manoeuvre around both inside and outside our lodges.
We purpose-built our lodges to be fully accessible for wheelchair users and disabled guests. Since opening, we have purchased a range of specialist equipment to enable our disabled guests to have a great holiday. Our equipment includes low profiling beds with special mattresses, a manual hoist, riser recliner chairs, a gantry hoist for the hot tub, shower chairs, and basic disability aids.
